Learn from Ector County ISD Superintendent Dr. Scott Muri (and others) on how education leaders of the Permian Basin reached across industry sectors and even state boundaries to gather superintendents, business leaders, philanthropists, elected officials, and public education advocates to strategically plan for the future of education in the Permian Basin. Leaders in the region organized a strategic planning session, The Permian Basin Education Leadership Summit, designed to focus on the development of system level plans to help effectively address the unfinished learning of students. What started as a grassroots effort to support school systems as they developed plans for their use of ESSER funds is now an evolving network of support for the region.
